Following the successful opening of our brand-new state-of-the-art hospital situated in the SA1 area of Swansea Sancta Maria Hospital are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiography Assistant to join our busy Radiology team.
We are only private hospital in Swansea offering a wide range of procedures carried out by a number of our leading consultants. The successful candidates will work as part of a team, providing chaperone support for Radiology clinics, assisting the Radiologists and Radiographers as required. General office/administration duties will also be included, such as answering calls, making radiological bookings and distributing reports.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our Radiology department which is a brand-new state of the art Imaging and Diagonostic centre.
Duties include:
- To work independently under the direction of a Radiographer to maintain and support an efficient day-to-day running of the Radiology service.
- To contribute to the general running of the Radiology service.
- To work under direction of Radiographers in the overall clinical and administrative management of patients.
- To be delegated routine Radiology department tasks to be carried out independently within guidelines and protocols. To be accountable for these tasks.
- To participate in training to update and assist in service changes within designated area.
- To be flexible and be prepared to work in other areas depending on service needs.
Previous radiology experience would be desirable but not essential.
