We just Love To Ride!

We like cycling here at St Hugh’s, and last month we encouraged staff to swap their usual methods of transport to work for biking instead.

As part of the Cycle September initiative, organised by Love To Ride, some of our staff got in the saddle instead of in the car to get to and from the hospital in Peaks Lane, Grimsby, and we are pleased to say we came second on the leaderboard for organisations in North East Lincolnshire with between 50 and 199 staff, trumped only by Franklin College… well done, Franklin!

For the area, 3307 people in total took part, from 192 workplaces, cycling a massive 2,248,268 miles between them in 154,119 rides… how’s about that for success?
