And… we’re off! You can sign up to take part in this year’s Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k and the St Hugh’s Hospital Family Fun Run from today!
We proudly host the fun run and sponsor the road race and are delighted that it’s back for 2022. Both events take place on the same day – Sunday, June 5 – and you’re advised to book in now to avoid disappointment.
Now in its seventh year and raising money for seven local good causes, whether you are an avid runner or have recently taken up the sport, or want to have a fun day out with family and friends, organiser Tape2Tape, working with headline sponsors Ørsted and North East Lincolnshire Council, want as many of you as possible to get stuck in.
Sign up for the St Hugh’s Hospital family fun run at: www.tape2tape.co.uk/events/st-hughs-hospital-great-grimsby-family-fun-run-2022
And entries for the 10k are open now at: tape2tape.co.uk/events/great-grimsby-10k-3 for £22, or £20 for affiliated running club members. Entry includes a T-shirt and medal.
This year’s chosen charities are: OnSide Youth Zone; Harbour Place; A Platform To Talk; The Gardiner Hill Project (part of NAViGO); Mind; Doorstep; and the RNLI. A £1 donation is made from every race entry into a fund shared between them.
The 10k race will once again start at Grimsby Town Hall and take place around the streets of Grimsby, while the St Hugh’s Hospital Family Fun Run takes place at People’s Park. A 10k is also being held virtually for those who want to compete in their own time, wherever they feel safe.
We look forward to seeing you there!
