Who’s behind the mask? #4
We’re finding out more about the people you might meet at St Hugh’s. Next up in our Who’s Behind The Mask series is Amanda Croft.
Name: Amanda Croft
Job title: Referrals & Enquiries Coordinator
How long have you been at St Hugh’s? Almost four years, starting on reception and then moving into the Enquiries and Referrals Team.
What do you love about your job: There are many things. I enjoy talking to our many patients and being able to help them, as I am a people person. Being able to assist patients on the start of their pathway through St Hugh’s is very rewarding. I work in a great team that not only provides support, but also laughter.
What do you do to relax? I enjoy any form of crafting. I am presently absorbed by quilling. But I also enjoy knitting, paper cutting, crocheting, painting and card making.
Describe yourself in 3 words: Happy, positive and – some would say – a bit crackers.
What song is guaranteed to get you on your feet, and why? There’s no stopping me dancing when I hear Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners. It’s a great song and I’ve loved it since it was released in in 1982 (I’m showing my age now!!).
