DR Gillott graduated from Sheffield medical school in 1990. He trained in Medicine and Rheumatology in the West Midlands, gaining certificate of Specialist Training in Rheumatology in 2000.

Dr Gilott specialises in rheumatology, the medical speciality concerned with the management of disorders of the musculo-skeletal system, ie. bones, muscles, joints, tendons, etc. It is a non-surgical speciality, although rheumatologists have close links to orthopaedics as well as orthotics, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
