Mr Platt has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon in the NHS since 2001. His NHS base is at The Department of Plastic Surgery, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, East Yorkshire. Mr Platt trained at Cambridge University and Oxford University before going on to hold junior posts in Bath, Canterbury and Oxford. His senior plastic surgery training was undertaken in units throughout Yorkshire. He undertook a year long fellowship in Plastic surgery in Adelaide, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic surgeons (BAAPS) and a council member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). He regularly presents at national and international meetings and has over 80 publications and presentations in the field of Plastic surgery.
Mr Platt offers a full range of cosmetic surgery for individuals who feel the need to revise or change the appearance, structure or position of their features, which may otherwise be considered as outside the broad range of normal. This includes face and neck lift, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation/ reductions/ uplift, tummy tucks, arm and thigh lifts, nose-reshaping, ear correction and hand surgery.
