Mr Thomas has been working as a consultant in North Lincolnshire since 2013. In that time, he has been clinical lead of the Urology department, as well as the Divisional Medical Director for surgery. He currently is the chief of service for speciality surgery which includes urology services across the Humber. He specialises in kidney stone treatment (endourology), urology cancer diagnostic investigations, and benign prostate disorder management (including TURP and green light laser surgery).

Additionally, Mr Thomas treats peno-scrotal disorders, erectile dysfunction, and bladder dysfunction (including bladder Botox injections, urinary tract infections, and cystitis). He also perform various diagnostic investigations, such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, and prostate biopsy (including transperineal biopsies).
