Mr Muzaffar Chaudhary Ahmad
Consultant Urological Surgeon
Mr Muzaffar Chaudhary Ahmad is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at HMT St Hugh’s Hospital in Grimsby. His specialist interests are urinary tract stone disease, endourology, the treatment of benign conditions of the urinary tract, and the investigation of urinary tract cancers.
Kidney stones are one of the few conditions people describe as the worst pain of their life, and they have an unhelpful habit of returning. Much of Mr Ahmad’s work is about dealing with the stone in front of you and then looking at why it formed, so that the next one can be prevented rather than simply treated. He also assesses the everyday urinary problems that people tend to tolerate for far longer than they should, and investigates the symptoms that need ruling out quickly.
