Putting ‘great’ into the Great Grimsby 10k…

Mum and son running duo Tina Fletcher and Jack Coney have done their bit for local charities and taken part in this year’s GY10K race by completing it virtually.

A kind gesture, no matter how small, goes a long way… and that’s why we deliver food from our hospital kitchen to Harbour Place each week.

Judging day for The Community Awards 2021 is almost here!

The new home for the Humberside Breast Screening Service – within the grounds of St Hugh’s Hospital, in Peaks Lane, Grimsby – has the thumbs-up from local women.

We’re on the look-out for volunteers to become ‘pilots’ for the St Hugh’s Hospital triobike, which helps older people out in the fresh air and reconnecting with their community.

There’s nothing quite like a trip around a beautiful park, taking in some fresh air, and admiring the scenery.

And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing in partnership with Friendship At Home, as part of the Cycling Without Age movement.

The Ørsted Great Grimsby 10K took place yesterday, and hundreds of runners took on the sweltering temperatures to successfully complete the course.
