Mr Omonbude qualified from NigeriaÕs University of Ibadan in 1997 and came to the UK where he completed his basic surgical training in Leeds. He continued his training on the orthopaedic higher surgical training programme with the Yorkshire Deanery, spending time in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Hull hospitals.
He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of surgeons (trauma and orthopaedics) in 2010 and went onto complete a fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and revision surgery at Nottingham University Hospital.
